Description
A 2D party game for 1-4 players, on the couch or online. Shove, brawl and betray your way through 26 mini-games in the world where cute blobs go to die.
Blobituary is a party game for 1-4 players, run by a game-show host with a warm smile and a sincere wish to watch you die. Bring friends or come alone. The host is happy either way.
You are small and adorable. That will not save you.
Across 26 short mini-games you'll race, brawl, dodge and betray your way through a graveyard. The host writes everything down: the points, who shoved whom off a ledge, who left a friend in the lava, and who didn't win a round in a while.
Come back from the dead as a ghost and scare the remaining players to death. You'll get credit for it and can even win from the grave. Death is just a new beginning.
Features
- 26 short mini-games: fight deadly snowball duels, dodge light-cycle traps, brawl in lethal musical chairs. Have a quick-draw standoff. Wreak havoc spinning a stone ball on a chain, or avoid crumbling floors. Attend a wake where every mourner looks alike and one of them is you. Every game is short, and every game ends on a moment somebody gets blamed for.
- Dead players keep playing: every death sets loose a ghost you steer for the rest of the round. A charged boo makes a living blob run, and if that run kills them you get the credit and half a match point. The dead can win the match.
- A host who keeps receipts: a barb on every scoreboard, a ledger of who buried whom, and a closing ceremony of awards nobody wants (MOST HATED, PUNCHING BAG, COATTAILS).
- Every loss gets a headstone: defeats leave tombstones and goo stains the survivors play on over.
- 1-4 players, on one couch or online through matchmaking, a private lobby or Remote Play Together. Play alone either way: empty seats go to bots that remember what you did. They fight back and they gang up.
- 20 hats and 12 faces, unlocked by playing.
- Family-safe chaos: no blood, no gore; losers poof into souls and tombstones.

Music & Streaming
Streamer-friendly: all music is licensed. Stream, upload, and monetize footage freely.
Robin Rossow permits the contents of Blobituary to be published through video broadcasting and streaming services for any commercial or non-commercial purpose. Monetization of videos containing Blobituary footage is explicitly allowed.
Half the soundtrack comes from DavidKBD under CC BY 4.0, which is a public licence anyone can check rather than a private receipt of mine. The rest is royalty-free music licensed for commercial use, and I keep the paperwork. I uploaded the full soundtrack to YouTube in August 2026 and no claims came back. That video stays up, so if anyone ever registers one of these tracks I hear about it early and can settle it. Every sound effect is made in-house. Trailer music by DavidKBD.
About the Developer
Blobituary is made by Robin Rossow, a solo developer from Germany, in Godot 4. I built around forty mini-games and kept the twenty-six that held up with four people at a table.
